Özel Hastane İşletmeciliğinin Mevcut Durumu ve Geleceği: Konya Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile özel hastane işletmeciliğinin mevcut durumunun incelenmesi ve geleceğine ilişkin öngörülerde bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma tanımlayıcı özelliklere sahip nitel bir araştırmadır. Nitel araştırma, sosyal olguları bağlı bulundukları çevre içerisinde araştırmayı ve anlamayı ön plana alan bir yaklaşımdır. Araştırma deseni olarak ise olgubilim tercih edilmiştir. Bu araştırmada özel hastane işletmelerinin yöneticilerinin deneyimleri ve bakış açıları yoluyla, özel hastanelerin durumları ile ilgili ayrıntılı bilgiler elde edilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Araştırma Konya’da bulunan özel hastane statüsünde faaliyet gösteren hastanelerde görev yapan başhekim ve hastane müdürleri ile görüşme yapılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak konu ile ilgili literatürden ve uzman görüşlerinden yararlanılarak oluşturulan yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen ses kayıtları önce yazılı hale getirilmiş olup, sonra konulara göre ayrıştırılmıştır. Ayrıştırılan veriler üzerinde tematik analiz metodu uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda özel hastanelerin güncel durumu, sorunları, gelişmiş ülkeler karşısındaki durumu, gelecekte nasıl bir ilerleme göstereceği konusundaki öngörüler ve gelişmesi için sunulan öneriler başlıkları altında alt temalara ayrıştırılarak yorumlanmıştır.

The aim of this study is to examine the current situation of private hospitals and to make predictions about its future. Research is qualitative research with descriptive properties. Qualitative research is an approach that emphasizes research and understanding of social phenomena within the environment in which they are connected. The research pattern was chosen as the case study. In this research, it was aimed to obtain detailed information about the situation of private hospitals through the experiences and perspectives of the managers of private hospital enterprises. The research was conducted by interviewing the chief physicians and hospital managers in acting hospitals in Konya. As a means of data collection, a semi-structured interview form is used which is based on the relevant literature and expert opinions. The voice recordings obtained from the talks were written first and then sorted according to the topics. Thematic analysis method was applied on the separated data. As a result of the analysis, the sub-themes were interpreted under the titles of the current situation of the private hospitals, the problems, the situation against the developed countries, the proposals about how to show progress in the future and the suggestions for development.
