İlköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinden beklentileri

Abstract

Öğrencilerin Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinden beklentileri oldukça farklı ve geniştir. Öğrencilere toplumsal yaşamda gerekli olan bilgi ve becerileri kazandırmayı amaçlayan Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenleri bu †beklentilere cevap verebilecek niteliklere sahip olmalıdırlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı, yenilenen öğretim programı doğrultusunda ilköğretim II.kademe öğrencilerinin Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinden araç-gereç kullanımı, tutum, ölçme-değerlendirme ve yöntem-teknik kullanımı alanlarına yönelik beklentilerini tespit etmektir. Çalışma, 2009-2010 öğretim yılının güz döneminde Kırşehir ilinde toplam 504 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Var olan durumu betimlemeye çalışan tarama modelinde yürütülen araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, “Öğrencilerin Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinden Beklentileri Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Cronbach Alpha Güvenirlik Katsayısı 0,805 tir. Elde edilen verilerin, frekans ve yüzde değerleri hesaplanmış, cinsiyet değişkenine göre “t” testi, sınıf ve akademik başarı değişkenlerine göre tek yönlü varyans analizi(ANOVA) yapılmıştır Yapılan çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinden araç-gereç kullanımı, tutum, ölçme-değerlendirme ve yöntem-teknik kullanımı alanlarına yönelik beklentilerinde sınıf ve akademik başarıya göre anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir.

The students‘ expectations from social studies teachers is rather different and wide. They who students aim to give the necessary knowledge and skills in social life must have been qualites which will able to respond to these expectations . The purpose of this research determine to expectations which equipment usage, attitudes, measurement and evaluation, techniques and methods using field toward from socıal studies teachers ın the second grade students of primary scholls, replace the curriculum on direction. The study is carried out with 504 students of Kırşehir province in the fall term of the 2009-2010 education year. As a means of data collection, " the scale of Students‘ expectations from social studies teachers“ " is used in existing state of the scanning model to describe work carried out in the study. Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficient is 0.805. The resulting data,the frequency and percentage values were calculated, according to the gender variable “t“ test,class and academic achivement according to the variable one-way analysis(ANOVA) was made.
