Türkçe öğretim merkezlerinde görev yapan öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, Türkçe öğretim merkezlerinde görev yapan öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerine ilişkin algıları ile anılan kurumlarda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerine ilişkin algılarını tespit etmektir. Tez, öğretim elemanlarının performanslarının öğrenciler tarafından değerlendirildiği bir çalışma olarak nitelenebilir zira çalışmada, öğrencilerin öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerine ilişkin algıları tespit edilmiştir. Tarama modelli nicel bir araştırma olan bu tezde, öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerini gerçekleştirme sıklığına ilişkin algılarının düzeyinin çok yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin de öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerini gerçekleştirme sıklığına ilişkin algılarının düzeyinin çok yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretim elemanlarının algılarının düzeyi ile öğrencilerin algılarının düzeyi arasında, öğretim elemanlarının algılarının düzeyinin öğrencilerin algılarının düzeyinden daha yüksek olmasından kaynaklanan anlamlı farklılık olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerini gerçekleştirme sıklığına ilişkin algılarında "cinsiyet" ve "yaş" değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretim elemanlarının olumlu sınıf iklimi sağlama yeterliklerini gerçekleştirme sıklığına ilişkin algılarında ise "mesleki kıdem" değişkenine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The objective of this thesis is to determine the perceptions of instructors working at Turkish education centers in affiliation with official universities regarding their competences of providing a positive classroom climate and the perceptions of students receiving education at the aforementioned institutions regarding the competences of instructors to provide a positive classroom climate. The thesis can be regarded as a study in which the performance of instructors is evaluated by students, because in the study, it was determined that the perceptions of students regarding the competences of instructors to provide a positive classroom climate. In the thesis which is a screening-model quantitative study, it was concluded that instructors had very high perceptions regarding the frequency of instructors to realize their competences of providing a positive classroom climate. It was also observed that students had very high perceptions regarding the competences of instructors to provide a positive classroom climate. It was determined that there was a significant difference between the perceptions of instructors and the perceptions of students which was caused by higher perceptions of instructors than the perceptions of students. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the perceptions of students regarding the frequency of instructors to realize their competences of providing a positive classroom climate according to the variables of "gender" and "age". It was also found that there was a statistically significant difference in the perceptions of students regarding the frequency of instructors to realize their competences of providing a positive classroom climate according to the variable of "professional seniority".
