İlköğretim okulu müdürlerinin iletişim becerileri ile okul kültürü arasındaki ilişkiler

Abstract

Bu araştırmada ?İlköğretim Okulu Müdürlerinin İletişim Becerileri İle Okul Kültürü Arasındaki İlişkiler? öğretmen algılarına dayalı olarak belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.Araştırmanın evreni, Aksaray il merkezindeki 45 ilköğretim okulunda görevli 1435 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Aksaray il merkezinde 15 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan toplam 420 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler İpek(1999) tarafından geliştirilen ?Örgütsel Kültür Ölçeği? ve Şimşek (2003) tarafından geliştirilen ?Okul Müdürlerinin İletişim Becerileri Ölçeği ? yardımıyla toplanmıştır.Veriler SPSS. 17 paket programı ve Microsoft Office Excel 2003 ile çözümlenmiştir. Çözümlemede normal dağılım özelliği gösteren veriler için İlişkisiz t- testi ve ANOVA uygulanırken; normal dağılım özelliği göstermeyen veriler için Mann Whitney U- Testi ve Kruskal Wallis H- Testi uygulanmıştır.Araştırma bulgularına göre; 15 okulun 10' unda ?Destek Kültürünün?, 3' ünde ?Rol Kültürünün?, 2' sinde de ?Güç Kültürünün? ilk sırada algılandığı; okul müdürlerinin iletişim becerilerinin 3 okulda ?üst düzeyde etkili? olduğu; okul kültürü ile müdürlerin iletişim becerileri arasında 0,37 düzeyinde pozitif bir ilişki bulunduğu; erkek öğretmenlerin ve mesleki kıdem süresi 16- 20 yıl arasında olan öğretmenlerin diğer gruplara göre bu konuda daha iyimser bir görüş bildirdikleri saptanmıştır.Araştırmada müdürlere ve öğretmenlere yönelik bilgilendirme seminerlerinin düzenlenmesi önerilmektedir.

In this research, the relationship between communicational skills of primary school headmasters and the culture of the schools has been tried to define according to the teachers? perceptions.The structure of this research has been formed by 1435 teachers in the 45 primary schools in the center of Aksaray. The sample of this research includes 420 primary school teachers in the center of Aksaray. In this research, the data has been collected by means of `Organizational Culture Scale? developed by İpek (1999) and the part `Study Skills of School Headmasters? of the survey `The Relationship Between Communicational Skills Of Primary School Headmasters And The Culture Of The Schools? developed by Şimşek (2003).The data have been analysed by the SPSS Packaged Software and Microsoft Office Excel 2003.As Independent Samples t Test and ANOVA have been used for the data which shows the feature of normal range, Mann Whitney U-Test and Kruskal Wallis H-Test have been used for the data which does not show the feature of normal range.According to the result of this research; The culture of ?Rainforcement Culture? in 10 schools, the culture of ?Role Culture? in 3 schools, the culture of ?Power Culture? in 2 schools of 15 schools have been perceived in the first order. Communicational skills of primary school headmasters have been observed in the very effective level in 3 schools. There is a positive reletaionship in the level of 0,37 between communicational skills of primary school headmasters and the culture of the schools. It has been observed that the men teacher and the teachers who has worked for 16-20 years have given more optimistic opinions in this subject than the other groups.In this research, it has been suggested that informatory seminars should be arranged intended for headmasters and teachers.
