Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının İnternet kullanımına ilişkin tutumlarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Sınıf Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin farklı değişkenler boyutunda internet kullanımına ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesidir. 2006-2007 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ahi Evran Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde gerçekleştirilen çalışmaya Sınıf Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören toplam 229 öğrenci katılmıştır. Tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmanın verilerinin toplanması amacıyla Tavşancıl ve Keser (2005) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan “Internet Kullanımına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS 12.0 programından yararlanılmış ve gerekli istatistiksel teknikler kullanılarak, araştırmanın verileri analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin yaklaşık yarısının bilgisayar kullanmaya üniversite yıllarında başladığı ve yaklaşık üçte ikisinin de interneti eğitim amaçlı kullandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra öğrencilerin kendilerine ait bilgisayara sahip olma, interneti kullanma süreleri ve internete girdikleri mekan değişkenleri arasında da anlamlı fark tespit edilmiştir.

This study aims to determine the attitudes of the students, who studied in the Department of Primary Teacher Education, toward internet use in the aspect of different variables. This study involved 229 students, who studied in the Department of Primary Teacher Education, Faculty of Education in Ahi Evran University during 2006-2007 academic year. In the study was used to “Attitudes Test toward the Internet Use“ developed by Tavşancıl and Keser (2005) with the aim of collection of data of the research for which scanning method was employed. SPSS 12.0 Method was utilized in the analysis of the research data, and the research data were analyzed by means of the use of the essential statistical techniques. The results of the research indicated that almost half of the students began to use computer during their university years, and about two-third of them used the internet for educational purposes. In addition to that, there was found a great discrepancy between the rates of the students‘ having their own computers, the time they spent using the internet, and the places where they had an internet access.
