Muhasebecilik mesleğinde mesleki stres kaynakları ve uygulanan bireysel stratejiler üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Teknolojik gelişmeler, insan hayatını kolaylaştırmaya başladığı gibi bazı sorunları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Hayatın maddi boyutlu yaşandığı manevi boyutunun göz ardı edildiği günümüzde "stres" kendini iyice hissettirmeye başlamıştır. Stres hemen her meslekte görülen ve birçok hastalığın tetikleyicisi olan çağın en önemli rahatsızlıklarındandır. Muhasebecilik mesleği de stresin en çok hissedildiği mesleklerden biridir. Bu çalışmada muhasebecilik mesleğinde meslekî stres kaynakları ve muhasebecilerin strese karşı uyguladıkları bireysel stratejiler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla düzenlenen anket formu, Kırşehir ilinde (ilçeler dâhil) mesleği icra eden 51 muhasebeci ile yüz yüze görüşmek suretiyle doldurulmuştur. Verilerin analizinde ise SPSS 10,0 for Windows (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) istatistiksel paket programı kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, aşırı çalışma temposu, işlerin monoton olması, bürokratik işlemlerin çokluğu ve sorumluluğun ağırlığı gibi durumların muhasebe mesleğinin stresini artırdığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.

The technological developments bring various problems while facilitating human life. Stress can easily be seen in today's life however the spiritual dimension of the phenomenon has been neglected. In our age stress is one of the most important troubles that might come into sight in every profession. Moreover it causes to many serious illness. As many professions, accounThe aim of the study is to find out the sources of stress in accountancy and the individual strategies of the accountants to get rid of it. The public survey was developed by the researcher and to face to face interviews has been made with 51 accountants, who were located in Kırşehir and its districts. While analyzing the data SPSS 10.0 for Windows (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) was used and it has been found out that intensive work, monotonous work, bureaucratic process and having more responsibility were the factors that increase the stress level in accounting profession.
