It is characterized by pruritic, erythematous macular, papular, papulovesicular lesions and reticular pigmentation. Lesions often localize back, neck, and chest. Dapsone and minocycline are most commonly used in the treatment of prurigo pigmentosa. Here we report a 19 years-old women diagnosed with prurigo pigmentosa by clinical and histopathological findings and treated with doxycycline.
