Abstract

Many complications may develop due to applications of neuroaxial block. Since epidural hematoma may develop during catheter placement as it may also develop following catheter withdrawal, both epidural catheter placement and withdrawal in patients on anticoagulant therapy require attention. In this case report, we present a patient who underwent aortic right iliac artery bypass grafting with combined spinal epidural anesthesia and given 75 mg clopidogrel and 100 mg salicylate by the surgical team before catheter removal in the early postoperative period.
