Özet
Ferroptosis is a series of events characterized by lipid peroxidation and disruptions in iron metabolism. Ferroptosis, first described by Dixon and colleagues in 2012 as a distinct form of regulated cell death, is morphologically and biochemically different from apoptosis, necrosis, and autophagy.
