Özet
Nuclear and radiological techniques are widely utilised in energy, health, industry and defense sectors. They pose risks to public health and the environment, while providing significant benefits to human life. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has published technical reports aimed at preventing or mitigating the harmful effects of radioactivity and radiation released in a nuclear or radiological accident. In this context, to effectively respond to a nuclear or radiological emergency, sufficient capacity must be developed within the business organisation and at local, regional, national, and when necessary, international levels. The emergency plan outlined in this study has been designed with a practical perspective for national, regional, local and facility/activity levels concerning nuclear or radiological emergency response and prevention. This emergency plan encompasses procedures, equipment and multi-disciplinary professional groups, where authorities and responsibilities are clearly defined. It operates within an organisational framework that ensure coordination and includes training and exercises.
