Özet
The works written in genres such as naat, mawlid, siyer and hilye which are about the life and personality of the Prophet Muhammad, constitute the majority of the religious content texts of Classical Turkish literatüre. Mawlid, which is an indication of the love felt for the Prophet Muhammad, especially expresses the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, the ceremonies held on this occasion and the works written. Mawlid texts generally deal with the birth, some miracles, prophethood, ascension and death of the Prophet Muhammad. Among the more than a hundred mawlid-type texts written in Turkish literature for centuries, Süleyman Çelebi's work Vesiletü'n-Necat, which he completed in 812 / 1409-10, has come to the fore in every aspect. This work, which is read by people on both happy and sad days, has been translated into many languages. One of the poets who wrote mawlids in our literature is Mustafa Ragıb. There is no information about the poet in the sources. According to the information in the only copy available, this work of Mustafa Ragıb, who is known to be the Naqshbandi caliph and died in Monastir in 1274 / 1857-58, has 244 couplets.
