Öğretmen adaylarının akademik işlerini erteleme nedenleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, öğretmen adaylarının akademik işlerini erteleme nedenlerini ve bu nedenlerden etkilenme düzeylerini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma tarama modelinde yürütülen nicel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini, Ahi Evran Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi birinci ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem ise, farklı bölümlerin birinci ve dördüncü sınıflarında öğrenim gören 447 öğrencidir. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Akademik İşleri Erteleme Nedenleri Ölçeği” ile 2010-2011 akademik yılında toplanmıştır. Ölçek, kırk üç madde ve altı faktörden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t testi, ANOVA ve Scheffe testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, ulaşılan sonuçlar, farklı araştırma sonuçları ile tartışılmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.This study aims to determine the reasons of candidate teachers to procrastinate their academic studies and the level of being influenced by these reasons. The research is a quantitative study that is carried out, using the survey method. The study population of the study is composed of the first and fourth year students at the Faculty of Education of Ahi Evran University. The sample, on the other hand, consisted of 447 students who were in their first and fourth years of study in different departments. The data were collected using the “Personal Information Form” and the “Scale of Reasons for Academic Procrastination” in the 2010-2011 academic year. The scale consists of forty three items and six factors. Mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe tests were used for the analysis of the data. The results obtained at the end of the study were discussed together with different study results and some suggestions were made.
