Abstract

The sustainable development awareness levels of university staff play an important role in universities ability to adopt and implement their sustainability mission. The study aimed to examine the sustainable development awareness levels of academic and administrative staff using a survey method in terms of economic, social, and environmental factors. According to the findings, economic factors were found to hawe the greatest Impact on sustainable development awareness. It has been concluded that the efforts of policy makers to improve economic factors are important in achieving sustainable development goals, as the economic conditions and economic expectations of university staff directly affect their sustainability awareness.
