Abstract

This study explores the role of mathematics education in supporting social integration and cultural diversity for refugee students. Enriched by diverse cultural backgrounds, refugee students’ education enhances their individual development and social cohesion. Developing skills in mathematical representations, mathematical thinking, and algebraic reasoning helps refugee students overcome language barriers and understand abstract concepts.
